By IA-DATA
The Universiti Malaya Affordable Diagnostics and Therapeutics (UMADT) hosted its first in-person stakeholder meeting with the Vietnamese-German Center for Medical Research (VG-CARE), part of the PAN ASEAN Coalition for Epidemic and Outbreak Preparedness (PACE-UP) and in Kuala Lumpur.
This milestone gathering advanced shared efforts to strengthen affordable diagnostics, epidemic preparedness, and research capacity across the region. Discussions led to plans for joint training modules and student mobility programs to empower the next generation of scientists and clinicians.
The meeting also laid the foundation for PACE-UP 2026, a global convening set to take place in Kuala Lumpur that will bring together international experts in healthcare innovation. With a focus on equity, access, and collaboration, the partnership reflects a shared vision for a more resilient and connected global health ecosystem.
