UMADT Participates in UK–Malaysia Healthcare Trade Mission Session

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia | 26 November 2025 — Universiti Malaya Affordable Diagnostics and Therapeutics (UMADT) was pleased to participate in a session held as part of the Healthcare Trade Mission to Malaysia, led by the UK in Malaysia (British High Commission) and Healthcare UK.

The session brought together UK NHS organisations, digital health innovators, academic institutions, and Malaysian stakeholders to explore opportunities for future collaboration in healthcare delivery, diagnostics, and health innovation.

Hosted at the Universiti Malaya Centre of Innovation and Enterprise (UMCIE), the afternoon provided a valuable platform for the exchange of ideas on digital health solutions, innovation and commercialisation pathways, and strengthening research–industry linkages between the UK and Malaysia.

UMADT was proud to contribute to these discussions as part of Malaysia’s growing health innovation ecosystem, sharing perspectives on diagnostics development, technology transfer, and the importance of affordable and accessible solutions for regional impact.
